The studio is located in the heart of the East Village, in the same space  where Jimi Hendrix once lived and La MaMa Theatre originated.

Uliana, a color specialist and makeup artist, left Madison Ave. in 1995 to open her  own studio on 9th Street. She has worked as both a hairstylist and makeup artist for television shows and magazine shoots. She has been quoted in numerous magazines and is noted for her makeovers.

Her philosophy is simple – to maintain the integrity of one's hair and  keep it  healthy.

The color system she uses is Schwartzkopf, which is conditioning, gives the  hair incredible shine, leaving it beautiful. She carries Kevin Murphy hair care products, which is sulphate and paraben  free, along with Olaplex products.
